Glazing at the Brick

Bewildered by choices? Anxious to get a nice glaze coat? Want inspiration using glazes to enhance your forms? Or maybe just new to the array of glazes available at The Brick? We will demonstrate glazing mugs, bowls, and plates using some of our favorite Brick glazes and glaze combinations, and we will bring fired examples to look at and discuss. We will also talk about design considerations and glaze decorating using resists and sponge stamps. Most of the workshop will be demonstration and discussion. The last few minutes will be reserved for participants to start glazing their own work. Remember your glaze notebooks! Open Studio time follows this workshop.
