Now Hiring: Studio Coordinator

The Brick Studio & Gallery, a 50+ member nonprofit clay co-op in St. James, is seeking a full-time Studio Coordinator to manage day-to-day studio operations and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for members and students. The Studio serves more than 200 participants through wheel and hand-building classes and workshops throughout the year and operates an on-site gallery featuring members’ work.

This hands-on, cross-functional position oversees studio operations, kiln and equipment maintenance, supplies and studio safety; coordinates class and workshop schedules and registration; supports exhibits and new programs; and manages studio records, outreach and publicity efforts. The Studio Coordinator also coordinates the responsibilities of the Studio Tech.

Candidates should have a BA, BFA or MFA in a ceramics-related field or equivalent experience, at least three years of recent studio experience, advanced wheel, hand-building and glazing skills, and strong organizational, communication and computer skills. The position requires the ability to lift 30 pounds, use ladders and perform studio maintenance tasks.

Schedule: Full-time, generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with some flexibility
