Hand-building Techniques Class

Hand-building is a great way to get to know how clay offers a wide range of possibilities. In this class, students will become
familiar with the basic methods of construction – pinch, coil and slab – to create functional and decorative wares in clay. A
variety of surface texturing and glazing techniques will also be explored. Special attention will be paid to students individual
pursuits. Beginners, as well as wheel students looking to expand their hand-building skills, are welcome.
