Sculpture/Hand-building in Clay

Using the three methods of hand building: pinch, coil and slab, students will develop strong techniques to create life size clay
portraits and scaled pieces in stoneware. Students will also be creating functional pieces such as vases, containers, platters
and various ceramic ware. This is a course that combines both hand-building and sculpture techniques.
